You are right that the demo version will not send a message automatically. BUT it will check if the site is allowing a message to be sent. If that's the case (green status field after checking), it will also allow sending a message in full version. You can also send a message manually by right clicking on the URL entry and choose “Submit Message”. This will show a preview of the data that would get sent automatically and you are also able to send it in demo version manually here.

Actually, you can't! Contact-Forms are not designed to hold fancy HTML code, hyperlinks or images. All you can add in a contact form is plain, simple text. However, you can put your full URL (meaning with http:// or https:// in front, not just the domain) into the text and it will most likely turn into a clickable link when received by the website owner.
If you import URLs (right click on project → Import URLs), you don't have to import the real contact page. The software will locate the relevant sub-link on its own. You can even import domains only.
This indicates, that the URL is automatically changing to another domain/URL. Since we can not be sure that the redirected URL is matching all the filters of the project or is already in the project, we simply skip submitting here. However, there is a project option under “Checking → Add Domain Redirects as new Websites” which is by default enabled and will add that redirected URL as new entry so the project does not lose anything and will eventually check/submit here as well alter on.
